Our Approach

My approach

I have always asked the question, why? I personally do not believe that people choose a side because they believe it to be evil, but because they are convinced it is good, or at the very least necessary. As I observe history, I try to see what lessons we can learn from it. What mistakes were made, how could we fix them, what could have been done differently? These questions are often hard to answer. Partly because History is written by the victor, and it is often hard to tell if it was the right decision, or just the decision that was made and how the victor justified it. The more I dig into our past, the more that I realize that history isn't right versus wrong, but more so the decision between two evils.

Our Story

My Story

As a child I grew up idolizing my grandfather for his service in World War II. after he passed, I found myself digging into his history, to see if I could find out the things he refused to share with me. As I gained knowledge of my grandfather, as well as the war, I asked myself why this war happened? Why did people do what they did, and how did they go about justifying it? The information that I discovered was much like pulling on a thread. And I soon discovered that World War II was just World War I continued. What could have happened if we learned from our mistakes during the first war? This launched me into historical studies, in order to learn from our mistakes.
